Sundar destroys Shepperton

Shepperton started solidly with experienced opener Vince Davies settling in well and reaching 23-1. Sandy Sundar had other plans and produced a fine spell of swing bowling taking 4-20. Surmesh Dadhwal with his accurate left arm round tied up the other end and finished with 3-10. Jacob Amyatt-Leir played a couple of good shots before holing out to long on. Skipper Alan Inwood scored one towering 6 but could not repeat his heroics of last week's game againsts the Vs. Liam Connaughton controlled the run chase with a useful 24 not out as 'The Glorious Threes' reached the winning target of 50 inside 14 overs. We look forward to a third "deciding game" with our friends and neighbours Shepperton. The Shepperton captain Alan Inwood got a spookey photo of Will Totty "posing with the physio's skeleton".
