Get ready – pre-season working parties.
Please come along on Saturday 13th &/or 20th April, between 9:30 and 12:30. Lend a hand to get the ground and our equipment ready to go.

All the Vandals junior & senior members and families are invited. The BBQ will be fired up, by the marquee and the bar will be open. Please come along proudly sporting your Vandals attire, so we can get some great pics for the album.

Junior Cricket – U9s, U11s, U12s Mixed; Boys U14; Girls U14s
For those ready for taking the next step in cricket, we have sides in the local development leagues (running from May to the end of July). This is the next step if your daughter/son feels they would like to try cricket in a more organised setting.
PLEASE REMEMBER, if you are already a Vandals member, all three sports, Cricket, Rugby, Netball, are included in your membership at no extra cost.
Practice & Coaching Sessions: Details will be published via our respective WhatsApp Groups – so please keep an eye out for those. But the headlines are that we’ve set up the initial schedule as follows:
Junior Surrey Cricket League Matches: These are scheduled now and the dates will be published via the WhatsApp Groups.
The headline for matches is that these will typically be played on Friday’s or Sunday’s. Opening fixtures are currently scheduled as follows:

All Stars & Dynamos
WVCC are running ECB All stars and Dynamos again this summer, aimed at 5-7 and 8-12 year olds respectively and with a focus on real game skills and fun. If your child is interested in playing cricket, the programs start on Sunday 5 May (10 to 11am) and run for 8 sessions. The cost for each program is £40 (set by the ECB), with a range of kit and goodies included.

Get back into Cricket
Please tell your friends and colleagues about our programme aimed at getting lapsed players back into the game. We’re running an ‘open day’ on Saturday 18th May – 12:30 to 16:30 Hrs. Come along to our new nets facility and give it a go.

And finally, an occasion to put in the diary – Saturday 8th June
We intend to celebrate our 100th birthday in stile with a ‘Centenary Cricket Ball’.
To be held in the marquee, we’re keen to make this an occasion for Vandals members, partners and families - with food, live music and dancing, from late afternoon through into the night.
