The first game of the season for the 3rdXI with a new skipper at the helm. New skipper Dillo Pompei won the toss and decided to ask Shepperton to field first, thinking that we could bat for 45overs and keep them in the field on a glorious sunny day at Br
A stirring lower order fightback by Drew Churchwell and Oscar Powell got the 3rds off to a positive, if losing start to the season. With a sub-par score on the board, Shepperton batted sensibly to reach the total.
