Nestled on beautiful Desborough Island between Weybridge and Walton-on-Thames, Weybridge Vandals Cricket Club offers cricket for all ages and all abilities – from complete beginners to experienced league players. With two cricket squares, a brand-new two-lane net system and a friendly, sociable atmosphere, it’s a great place to start, return to, or continue your cricket journey.

Junior cricket (ages 5–16)
We run a thriving junior section for children aged 5 and above, with a clear pathway from first steps with a bat through to hard-ball cricket and beyond.

All Stars Cricket (5–8) and Dynamos Cricket (8–11) introduce children to the game in a fun, safe environment, focusing on movement, basic skills and a love of cricket.

Age-group teams from under 9 through to under 15/16 give boys and girls the chance to develop their cricket, play regular matches and make friends.

Our girls’ development squad (11–15/16) provides dedicated coaching and playing opportunities for girls who want to learn, improve and enjoy the game together.

Coaching sessions are led by qualified coaches, supported by our coaching partnership with JM Coaching, who help players progress from the basics through to advanced technical skills as they grow and gain confidence.

Adult cricket (new, returning and experienced players)
We run three competitive Saturday league sides and a friendly Sunday XI, so there is a team to suit you whether you are new to adult cricket, returning after a break or looking for a new challenge.
Training takes place on our high-quality squares and in our new two-lane nets, offering the right environment for everyone from social cricketers to serious performers to improve their game.

A club with history and standards
Weybridge Vandals CC is proud to be an ECB Clubmark-accredited club, reflecting our commitment to providing a safe, well-run and welcoming environment for players and families.
We celebrated our centenary in 2024, and we are excited to build on more than 100 years of cricket, playing on Desborough Island with the next generation of players.
